The Babstadt Castle was built around the turn of the 20th century in place of a predecessor building, from which the baroque portal originates, and is thus the youngest castle in the town of Bad Rappenau. It is inhabited and not accessible.

It features an organ made from the remains of an Overmann organ. The interior was extensively renovated a few years ago and now has a simple, elegant appearance.
