Other hiking opportunities: approx. 1 km before the large PP Jageralm-PP. From there ascent to the front Signalkogel and on to the rear Signalkogel. Descent to the rear lake. And a difficult hike over the Schafluckensteig to the Brunnkogel. The two lakes can also be reached from the Großalm bus stop in Neukirchen near Altmünster.
