This is a beautiful little pedestrian bridge that is very wide and accommodating. It is a great little place to stop on your bike in order to take some time out to look out over the river.

The quarry dates back to before the Civil War and is believed to have been abandoned in the earliest years of the 1900's. The area was mostly mined for fill material for different building projects in the surrounding towns and on railroad tracks.
