Nice shaded path with plenty of dog walkers and moms with strollers. This greenway does not lend itself to cyclists interested in going fast.

This section of the popular Fourmile Creek Greenway is a great place to potentially see wildlife like beavers, white-tailed deer, and various bird species. Keep an eye out as you enjoy your walk by the creek.

Along Fourmile Greenway is a short spur trail that leads to the popular Squirrel Lake Park. The park features a spacious playground, fairy trails, a serene lake with a dock and ducks, as well as convenient restroom and picnic facilities with outdoor grills. There is also a bike repair station and a 12-Hole Disc Golf Course. This is a nice stop for people of all ages as you explore the Fourmile Creek Greenway.

Colonel Francis J. Beatty Park is an excellent, free, multi-use park with something for everyone! There are playgrounds for children, soccer and baseball fields, picnic areas, an event venue, a small lake, and an extensive trail network for mountain bikers, hikers, and runners. Please note on the map that it says for walkers and runners to please travel in the opposite direction of mountain bikers for everyones' safety and enjoyment of the park!
