Kendena Lake is a small lake (right next to North Lake) in Gallatin County Regional Park. There is an easy walking path that goes around the lakes and views the Bridger Peaks from town. This is a great spot for a quick spin in nature without ever leaving the city.

The Snowfill Recreation Area outside of town is a pretty common dog walking area, but it makes for some great flatter hiking as well. You have continual views of the Bridger Range as you hike on gravel, dirt, and grassy trails.

Yes, Belgrade has several options perfect for a family outing. For a leisurely walk with plenty of activities, consider Ada Ciganlija, a river island with a path around its lake. For a more traditional park setting, Gallatin County Regional Park loop โ Bozeman, Montana is an easy, flat walk that takes about 20 minutes. Koลกutnjak Park-Forest also offers numerous gentle trails suitable for all ages.
Avala Mountain is quite accessible from Belgrade's city center. You can take several suburban bus lines that stop near the base of the mountain.
