These woods are a rare pocket of old-growth forest in an urban setting. This 10-acre stand features towering oaks, hickories, beeches, and maples—some over 200 years old—creating a shaded, cathedral-like atmosphere. Delia Park bike path, 2 entrances into the park, on 18 mile Road,between Dequindre and Ryan Road or from Ryan Road between 18 mile and 19 mile where the dog park and tennis courts are. The bike trail goes all the way to Beaumont Hospital,probably 3 miles long. Great 6 mile trail all together!
