Lynn Beach is quite expansive and encircles much of Nahant Bay leading out to the Atlantic. A paved trail runs along the length of the beach, and you can spend a lot of time riding right next to the water.

If you're going to Nahant, it's worth driving up to this rock. The view across the bay to Boston is always a great joy for me. (But maybe it's just because I love Boston so much.) But the view of the sea, completely undisturbed, is simply amazing.

In 2004 Revere Beach has been marked as National Historic Landmark. Today it is one of the most beautiful and well maintained beaches of Greater Boston. If you are into sand sculptures you should visit the annually New England Sand Sculpting Festival in June.
