From the far point of the White Tail Trail there is a fork leading to two overlooks. You get sweeping views from both overlooks across the inlet of Dundee Creek, the Nature Center, and the marina. This is a popular spot for kayaking and a great place to spot wildlife.

The Sweathouse Trail is a wide a singletrack with some technical roots and rocks. The trail follows the north side of Big Gunpowder Falls and Sweathouse Branch. The trail skirts right along the edge of the riverbank with scenic views of the water the whole way. You can hop across Sweathouse Branch on rocks in most places.

Here the trail runs down to a parking lot and trailhead just across the road from the dam. From the road you get good views of Loch Raven Dam, and there is a small overlook on the north side designated by a signpost.
