There's so much going on in this park! You can hike, mountain bike or ride a horse, and look out for three stone-walled overlooks. There's also a small, seasonal campground, a handful of camping cabins, and picnic shelters for rent.

Hamburg Road passes through the Frederick Municipal Forest in Frederick, Maryland. This scenic winding road is a great place to ride through the dense woods all seasons, but is especially nice in the fall when the leaves change from green to vibrant hues of yellow, orange, and red.

Whittier Lake Park is a beautiful slice of nature and is an ideal place to stop and relax mid-ride. There are tables to sit at and even a gazebo if you need shelter. It's a popular fishing spot too.
