Salt Bay Heritage Trail is really one of a kind. You have to make sure you time your run for low tide so that the boardwalks aren't underwater. A lot of the trail passes by wetland and boggy areas, so there's a decent chance you'll see wildlife out on the trail.

There is an intertwined trail system at Dodge Point Preserve. You get to run past the Ice Pond, multiple coves, and along the shores of the river. These are popular trails, and you can even access the longer River Link Trail from here.

Zak Preserve encompasses a lot of untouched land. The trails on the property pass through wetlands areas and by bogs; most of the paths are tucked in the forest with some open meadow hiking as well. The most popular running loop is the one that follows the yellow and white blazes around the perimeter of the preserve.
