Really bad muddy path! If you want to drive further, then definitely avoid it and go back through the industrial area instead.

"The Baerler Busch, together with the Rheinpreußen dump and the Lohheider See as well as the Reitwegesee, is a local recreation area in the north of Duisburg that is over six hundred hectares in size. The Ruhr regional association acquired the Baerler Busch in January 2006; it is around 320 hectares in size. Sandy soils and acidic oak forest communities are more typical. Beech and pine trees also occur in significant proportions. On the southern edge of the forest area lies the scenic forest lake, which was created by gravel and sand mining. The Baerler Busch is criss-crossed with an extensive network of cycling and hiking trails, making it ideal for walking, jogging and cycling. There is also an extensive system of bridle paths. ..." One of my goals is freedom for my own thoughts and exchange with other artists and visitors. In my studio and on our 4,500 square meter forest property you will see many extraordinary unique pieces. Artists who would like to contribute to the mysticism of the forest with actions or sculptures are always very welcome. It is important to me to make art and culture accessible to everyone. Innovative and integrative forms of encounter between artists and audiences are a particular goal that I strive for. Communication about the arts, which can also provoke discussions, as well as the cultural organization of leisure time I see this as an important prerequisite for our project. Over time I have found many friends and partners who support us Original excerpt from the website: http://www.waldatelierschoeps.de/ziel/
