The church building in half-timbered style in Sobieszewo (Bohnsack), was forcibly expropriated in 1947 in favor of the Roman Catholic Church in Poland. In 1985 it burned down and was subsequently rebuilt in the same location in a modern architectural style. A figure of the "Weeping Mother of God" is venerated in the church, which was brought here in 1961 from Dębowiec. In the cemetery, old German gravestones of Protestant church elders can still be found today. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sobieszewo

The Przegalina Lock is an impressive hydrotechnical structure located on the Martwa Wisła River in Gdańsk, connecting it with the Przekop Wisły. Built in 1891–1895, the lock enables navigation between the Martwa Wisła River and the Przekop Wisły, overcoming the difference in water levels. The facility consists of two chambers: the old, currently inactive, and the new, put into service in 1983, which is one of the largest locks in Poland. For road cyclists, the lock is an interesting point on the route through Żuławy Wiślane.

From the beginning of their existence, the locks were started by a mechanical-hydraulic system powered by two locomobiles, later replaced by an electric motor. The drive station for the hydraulic mechanisms of the gates was placed in a separate building on the right side of the lock. It was mainly used for navigation when the difference in water levels was created. Over the two navigable channels, rail-road bridges were built, 21 and 25 meters long, located high above the water surface. The Northern Lock (68 meters long, 12.5 meters wide, 3.5 meters deep) has a mixed construction. The foundation slab is made of concrete and placed on a grid of wooden piles. The monolithic walls of both heads of the lock and the chamber are made of brick, with the thickness of the chamber walls being 2.5 meters. The lock was filled through short circulation channels, the inlets of which are located in the recesses of the operational gates, and the outlets below the gates from the side of the lock chamber. Technical opinions on the condition of the structure led to the decision to decommission it in 1992 and to implement other flood protection measures in this location. In 1995–1996, a flood embankment was built in the upper avant-port in front of the lock. In 2012, the old passage over the Northern Lock was demolished, and then a new roadway was built. This year, it was opened to visitors, with viewing points prepared. In 1975–1980, the Southern Lock was completely rebuilt into a reinforced concrete chamber lock with a usable depth of 3.5 meters, a width of 11.8 meters and a length of 188 meters. It was made available for the needs of all river vessels passing through Przegalina. In April 2011, work began on the new road system on both sides of the locks. A new road was marked out from the Świbno side, and in the next stage abutments were built for a drawbridge on the Southern Lock, with the 21-meter-long bridge structure being assembled in March 2012. This work was carried out as part of the Żuławy Loop, i.e. the Vistula Delta and Vistula Lagoon Waterway Development Program.
