This charming port is home to small pleasure and fishing boats from the swirls of the sea. Located at the entrance to the ria, it has had a prosperous past with significant fishing activity for sardines, mackerel, tuna and cod. The beauty of the place has also inspired some artists such as the painters Henri Moret and Émile Jourdan, or the novelist Pierre Marc Orlan.

Located at the mouth of the Ria du Bélon, the Pointe de Kerfany is a beautiful place that combines history and relaxation. On site, we find vestiges of the Atlantic Wall erected by the Germans during the Second World War. The beach is protected, supervised in summer and you can enjoy calm water for swimming.

This small slipway which plunges into the Bélon estuary is very popular with boaters and paddle boarders. An installed bench allows you to comfortably enjoy the space for a few moments.

There was a time when Brigneau was home to one of the largest canneries in France. In high season, hundreds of sardine boats unloaded their catch so that the 300 employees (mainly women) of the cannery processed the fish and shipped it to the four corners of France. Since the 1970s when the intensification of fishing exhausted the resource, the cannery remains a vague memory of this prosperous era.

Undeniably more characterful than other portions of the customs officers' path, this portion of the coastline populated with jagged rocks inspires a certain romanticism. Whether the sun burns or the sky cries, this seascape will not leave you indifferent.

A nice idea. And there is usually a crepe stand directly opposite. Perfect indulgence with a view of the beach.
