Fischerei Lasner is a family-run fishery on the Großer Plöner See in the Schleswig-Holstein municipality of Ascheberg. The business is one of the oldest fisheries in Schleswig-Holstein. Due to a lack of funds, the ruins remained standing for over two years. The church facade clearly shows the 17th-century masonry that was reused in the new construction. Following the prevailing taste of the time, the architecture was based on medieval Romanesque and Gothic stylistic elements, incorporating remnants of the foundation walls that survived the fire. St. Nicholas Church hosts numerous concerts, ranging from sacred music to guest performances by artists such as Vicky Leandros. Musical highlights include the concerts held as part of the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival.
