The St. Katharinental Monastery was a Dominican nunnery on the Rhine near Diessenhofen; it belonged to the Diocese of Constance. Today, the monastery buildings house a clinic of the Canton of Thurgau for rehabilitation and long-term care. The entire Baroque monastery complex with the monastery church is well worth seeing, as is the monastery museum. And of course, "Cafe Katharina" right on the Rhine with a magnificent view of Diessenhofen.
