An old stone bridge, quite impressive when the River Leven is in full flow.

Flowing 8 miles (12.8 km) from Windemere to Morecambe Bay, the River Leven is a stunning feature in the landscape. It carves through a rocky valley that has barely changed over the millennia. In the past, steamers travelled along the river to reach Loch Lomond. Nowadays, the river is not navigable and is instead home to varied wildlife.
