In the 1930s, the first park stage was built here, on the shore of Westendsee lake (after 1945 – Rusałka lake) – a wooden platform, next to which were several rows of benches. The remaining spectators could take seats on the grass, on the gentle slope of today's Dolina Niemierzyńska.

Currently, the Arkonka municipal swimming pool is located here, built at the beginning of the 20th century in the basin of the drying Lake Świtezianka (until 1945 Ger. Martin See). In the southern part of the lake, there was a water mill, later dismantled (Ger. Steinfurther Mühle). In 2014, a thorough modernization of this swimming pool was completed. Arkonka then became one of the largest outdoor water complexes in Europe.
