Lannach Pond Park with forest nature trail The brick factory is now closed and clay mining has stopped. Of the original 30 brick ponds, 19 water-filled ponds remain. These gradually became overgrown with aquatic plants and swamp trees, and interesting animals settled in the water and on the banks.
