A walk around the lake is always pleasant. Can be quite muddy at the top end in the winter/ when wet.

Great way to get out of Swindon town onto the fab cycle route to Marlborough and beyond. Bit steep, but not at all scary.

St Andrew's Church is in the village of Wanborough in north Wiltshire, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the Diocese of Bristol. It has been designated a Grade I listed building by English Heritage. There has been a church at Wanborough since no later than the 11th century, but this was then rebuilt mostly through the 14th (when the tower with spire was added above the crossing) and 15th century (when the west tower was added), and then again restored in 1887. Fun fact: this is one of only three churches in England to have a western tower and a central spire. Ref. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St_Andrew%27s_Church,_Wanborough

Willow, ash and birch can all be found in the park's woodlands, with oak trees on higher ground. A fantastic park with nature trails, bird hides and family activities, this is a lovely place to walk through or simply visit. There are also good facilities, a cafe and BBQ hire.
