The bathing area offers shallow access to the water, but cyclists, people with strollers, disabled people, and motorized vehicles have enormous difficulty even getting close. The entire forecourt is made of deep sand. Driving through it is certainly not recommended. However, the village is accessible by car, and there is a permitted access road.

A good idea was implemented modestly for cyclists. It goes quite steeply up and down, the rails for pushing the bikes are extremely attached to the foot of the railings, so that you have to hold the bikes at a 45-degree angle. A disaster for users of e-bikes and heavier bikes with and without luggage. Not a showcase of German engineering. But it was very expensive. Nevertheless, the bridge remains a highlight, as it is the only option far and wide to get into or out of the Tangersdorfer Heide.

There is still an object there from almost forgotten times.

Unfortunately everything is somehow permanently closed.

There is now a high bridge with stairs (with a rail for bikes on the edge) for hikers, the pub has closed (probably permanently?) and looks in need of renovation.

A fascinating spot, even idyllic in parts. The only thing that is off-putting is the flat middle of the village with the simple parking lot and the run-down building that serves as a "restaurant". Cars are not allowed here, cyclists have problems with the multi-level bridge, and hikers are treated to an exciting forest and lake landscape behind it.
