You can see William Frederick Hayden Park on the right, and Denver on the left from Carl's Point. A perfect spot to take a mid ride photo or simply take a break and enjoy the view.

Pedaling along the Dakota Ridge service road, you’ll hit the famous Dinosaur Tracksite, where ancient footprints in Dakota sandstone are stained for visibility. Over 300 tracks left by iguanodonts and small theropods lie just off the path.

New bakery at the top of Lookout just past Buffalo Bills. They opened Spring of 2025, just getting started and adding new pastries each time I stop by, the coffee is good too, hard to beat chocolate croissants stuffed with Nutella and a double shot of espresso!

Mostly paved road that eventually links up with US 6 Trail. There are sections with broken asphalt or loose gravel on the pavement, so thicker tires are recommended.
