The Trödelradweg is really enjoyable and one of my favorite routes. It forms a perfect route via Biesenthal, Marienwerder, Zerpenschleuse to Liebenwalde.

Dating from around the 17th century, it is considerably more impressive than the churches in the neighboring villages. The church stands somewhat off the road, but is still clearly visible.

Bernau's city center may be cobbled, but it's still worth a visit: With less traffic, you'll find lovely spots, like this café. Across the wall, you're quickly back out onto the slopes.

Beautifully situated on the canal, the path runs alongside the old cobblestone road. The path joins the cycle path that runs for several kilometers through the forest.
