China Point Park was the spot of the original Chinatown in Napa. It is now a beautiful small park, with an overlook onto the Napa River. A moon gate was constructed as the entrance to the park to commemorate the community of Chinese immigrants that lived here in the 1850s.

The Napa Valley Vine Trail Coalition had completed the first 12.5 miles, from Napa to Yountville, of the 47-mile paved walking & biking trail system that will connect the entire Napa Valley from Vallejo to Calistoga by the end of the decade. The paved path runs parallel to the highway and wine rail line, which safely separates the trail from car traffic. This first section passes three wineries with tasting rooms directly, and quiet side streets link to many more. http://vinetrail.org

Napa River Flood Project to completes the six-mile Napa River Trail from Kennedy Park on the south to Trancas St on the north. This trail connects with the Commuter Bike Path, a 2.5 mile route running parallel to the Napa Valley Wine Train tracks, providing an off-street bike and pedestrian connection to the west side of Highway 29. The River Walk behind the Napa Mill and the Riverfront properties connects to 3.5 miles trail going South one way, on the opposite side of the Napa River. Cross 3rd St bridge and head south on Soscol to the northern trail entrance. The path will be paved eventually parallel to the railroad tracks. The unofficial (as of yet) gravel part continues a short distance past a large dirt pad and follow a small walking trail down a bank, and back up a bank to the current end. http://napavalleyregister.com/lifestyles/columnists/discovering-napa/napa-river-trail/article_dc5d83ce-6621-11e0-b4c5-001cc4c03286.html http://www.napaflooddistrict.org

Andretti Winery is a boutique winery in the Oak Knoll District portion of Napa, California.  Mario Gabriele Andretti (born Feb 28, 1940) is a retired Italian American world champion racing driver, one of the most successful Americans in the history of the sport. He is one of only two drivers to win races in Formula One, IndyCar, World Sportscar Championship and NASCAR.  Mario's interest in the wine business arose from a commemorative bottling of wine he marketed to celebrate his retirement from auto racing in 1994. Two years later Andretti and longtime friend Joe Antonini, former CEO of Kmart (which had sponsored Andretti's racing team) purchased a 53-acre (210,000 m2) vineyard and winery in the far north part of Napa, California, where they built a Tuscan-themed winery, tasting room, and guesthouse. http://www.andrettiwinery.com https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mario_Andretti 4162 Big Ranch Rd, Napa, CA 94558 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andretti_Winery Winemaker Bob Pepi, co-founder with his father of Robert Pepi Winery (now Pepi Winery), and owner of the "Eponymous" winery, has been winemaker since the winery opened in 1996. The winery produces a wide variety of "super-premium" category wines from grapes grown on-site and sourced from various locations in California. It also resells a small quantity of wine imported from Italy.
