Very quiet place with a nice swimming opportunity and clean sanitary buildings. Good cycling tours in the surrounding area possible. Shopping facilities in Krakow am See quickly reachable. 9 out of 10 points.

In my opinion, this is a great campsite for cyclists. You always meet like-minded people because there's only one seating area for the tent area, which forces people to sit next to each other, and you always get chatting... which is absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, the campsite has become a bit more expensive over the years, but it's still worth it for anyone cycling the Berlin-Copenhagen cycle route. Best wishes and keep moving 🚲🌬️😉

The Hoppenrade Manor House is picturesquely situated amidst a sprawling 3-hectare estate bordering a nature reserve. Behind the manor house are a small park, a forest, a river, and expansive fields. At the beginning of the 18th century, Heinrich von Levetzow had a half-timbered manor house built in Hoppenrade. Between 1850 and 1853, Josua Magnus Klockmann built the present manor house in the neo-Gothic style according to plans by the Schwerin architect Theodor Krüger.

The highlight is the church and not the parsonage opposite, which is unfortunately often photographed incorrectly here. The village church can be seen from far away thanks to the large church tower. The church is a classic fieldstone church and the church fence and cemetery are also made of fieldstone.

On the Berlin-Copenhagen cycle path east of Lake Krakow near the small town of Neu Dobbin, the observation tower at the former milking parlor invites you to linger. The observation tower "Paradiesgartenblick am alten Melkstand" offers fascinating views of the Krakow lake landscape and is located between the towns of Neu Zietlitz and Neu Dobbin. In 2010, Wilfried Baldermann, mayor of Dobbin-Linstow, inaugurated the observation tower with its wonderful view of Lake Krakow and the landscape. The observation platform owes its nickname "Am alten Melkstand" to the fact that cows were still milked here until 1969.
