Looking toward the ocean, this park sits on the left, with public paid parking behind it and next to it, some of the closest beach parking you can get!

There is still a little market to resupply. Awesome muffins! Just go past the gas pumps and you can't miss it.

If you’re looking for an easy, relaxing walk with ocean views, Oceanside City Beach is a great spot. The nearby trail from Buccaneer Beach to Tyson Street Park is mostly flat and perfect for all fitness levels. Along the way, you’ll catch beautiful sea breezes, beach playgrounds, and plenty of space to stretch your legs. It’s especially nice early morning or late afternoon when it’s quieter, and the sun is not so strong.

Built in 1978 at a cost of $1,500,000. Its main span is 455 feet (139 m), with a total length of 745 feet (227 m). The bridge's high arch and sleek design are considered iconic and have won several national design awards. In order to comply with interstate grade laws, they had to cut and blast away everything below us.This hill is made of granite which is very hard to remove. ¾ of a million cubic yards of solid granite was removed. The bridge could have been placed a mile or two down the road for a fraction of the coast but the architect wanted to create something iconic and inspiring.
