Trail 41β aka Goat Trail β is a must-do ride for every mountain biker in Ford Ord. It is one of the most enjoyable sections in the area. The upper section leads through grassland and lower part is pure downhill fun: fast and flowy!

The whole segment is another must do stretch in Fort Ord. It has a little bit of everything. Starts of uphill but then soon followed by a up-down flowy section. The track is sandy and loose (much more than Trail 42) in the flowy sections. There is a nice viewpoint after a steep uphill section. The fun and steep downhill section starts after the viewpoint. Its a tricky downhill section where one needs to find the line properly through a mix of exposed sandstone rocks and drops. I would rate it intermediate. Some of the sections are wider path and some are narrower.
