The Große Pulheimer Laache is a nice place to stay. Many display boards are very well described for families with children. After the Laache, a hike to the Stöckheimer Höfe and the surrounding excavator holes is recommended. A beautiful hike is recommended from the Bocklemünd excavator holes via Pesch to Esch. In between there are also benches with a view of the water.
