Really worthwhile insider tip! To get down the steep path to the river, you have to bring sturdy shoes and sure-footedness. Really steep and loose stones! But then it gets really exciting. To the right, upstream along the river, you can climb dry-footed to the foot of the waterfall. The sight is worth it.
