Pioneer Park, established in 1902, is Walla Walla’s oldest park. The park offers a playground, soccer field, softball fields, pickle ball courts, paved paths, a historical bandstand, a wedding fountain, a historic cannon, and a rose garden. Enjoy natural beauties like large shade trees, flower gardens, and ponds. Birds are kept at the aviary, which is free to enter. If you're passing by, restrooms are available for a pit stop.

Situated about two miles east of Walla Walla, Bennington Lake is a great recreation spot. It was previously called Mill Creek Reservoir. It spans over 50 acres and is fishable all year. Bennington Lake has a boat launch, multi-use trails, and scenic views.
