When coming to Bay Area Blvd. from red Bluff go to the opposite side of the road. There’s a bike trail. If you stay on the right side, the trail ends stay on the left side take you all the way to Clearlake.

The site features a 1.3-mile birding trail with bird blinds, restrooms, picnic tables, BBQ grills, and a pavilion.
