Flonk Hotel Groningen is a 4* hotel with an impressive front view. The hotel has a spacious, covered, lit but not enclosed bicycle storage. There is a lift. All rooms overlook an open hall. Noisy guests or partygoers can easily disturb the night's rest, especially if the hotel manager does not intervene. The room has wifi, television with Flemish TV channels, air conditioning, but no terrace and a poor view of the roof of the restaurant and the surrounding water for the lower floors. A standard room has wall-to-wall carpeting, a large bed with a medium-firm mattress, coffee service, no mini-fridge, and a comfortable, but not too spacious bathroom. With a shower and toilet next to the shower. The hotel has a nice restaurant and the breakfast is more than sufficient. We rate this (cycling) hotel 3.8/5.
