The station still features a beautiful roof structure. In front of the station stands the artwork and fountain "Playing with Water," created by Marcus Ravenswaaij and commissioned by the Nutsspaarbank to commemorate its centennial. It was subsequently presented to the city of Woerden, which celebrated its 600th anniversary in 1972. It's a truly cheerful work of art.

The artwork is made of terracotta, masonry red clay. [3] The artwork is 5 meters high. The three "legs" each have a length of 8.5 m. On the outside are three small towers, and one large in the middle. The artwork is made of 391 [5] loose elements with a total of 13 tons of clay. [2] Reclassification Plaquette.jpg The clay of the artwork represents the roof tile factories that played a major role in the history of Woerden. The towers and walls symbolize Woerden's former role as a fortified city. The artist initially called the monument Trinity, but the city council preferred the title Redevelopment Monument.
