This is a nice neighborhood park with all the essential amenities including a playground, tennis and basketball courts, and a picnic area. Also, the Rocky Creek and American Tobacco Trail intersect here so you can go for a good long walk from here as well.

The maintained walking trail ends right about here. Although some people make a complete loop out of their walk, that recommends walking across the dam and climbing a fence that is marked for restricted access. Not recommended. Instead, you'll need to hike back the way you came — another opportunity to see wetlands.
