There's a restroom and a hiking map in the parking lot. You should take a photo of it, as it will help you navigate even better. There are three different options: a 3 km hike, a 7 km hike, and a 12 km hike. It's well signposted, so you can be sure you'll find the right path. On the middle hike, it was wonderfully quiet, and a very enchanting path ultimately led to the mountain hut, from which you have a beautiful view of the lake. Unfortunately, you can't get to the lake itself.

There's a boat dock right next to the small bay where the Virserumsån River flows into the lake. It's a great place to observe the activity on the lake, as long as there's already something going on. It's sure to be a very busy spot in the summer.

The large parking lot can easily accommodate around 20 vehicles, and it's also possible to park larger campers and vans. The information board lists the three different hiking routes. Pocket-sized maps are also available, which is great. A shelter, a rest area, and a toilet block complete the parking area. It's a great starting and ending point.

About 50 meters from the main road, with a large turning area, also suitable for campers. Very rustic accommodation and definitely suitable for survival 😉
