March 24, 2024, Lochaline Ferry Terminal

Very very small ferry terminal - When I was there in July 2023 there was no coffee shop. Timetables & fares: https://www.calmac.co.uk/article/2975/Mull-Lochaline---Fishnish

Kinlochaline Castle is a 15th-century Scottish tower house on the Ardtornish estate. It sits at the head of Loch Aline and has now been renovated to a family home.

On the Ardtornish Estate lies this lovely farm shop in the courtyard area. There's a fridge with local produce as well as jars and packets of Scottish sourced food. There's also a tea and coffee machine and a set of table and chairs to sit at inside. You pay in the gift shop next door, which boasts a variety of local artisan crafts for sale.

Love this as a descent - one of the best swopping descents locally. Feels like flying!

Laudale Estate - NOT Letterewe! You're requested not to walk through the estate buildings but to divert along the coast. There's no clear track but it's easy enough to ride most of the way.
