Church built by the Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Teutonic Order) around 1349 The framework of the church - part of the presbytery - dates back to this time. Expanded in the first half 17th century. The nave was added around 1680, and then a side chapel. Hall type church, single-nave. The structure of the church was influenced by its affiliation with the Evangelical-Augsburg denomination. From 1563 - an Evangelical-Augsburg parish. Approx. 1582 - visit of Bishop Rozrażewski and an unsuccessful attempt to retake the temple from the Protestants. The bishop had to flee from local Protestants.
