The only crossing over the river. Suitable spot for a picnic. It's not far to Villalonga from here.

Viewpoint from where you can see the Castell de L'Orxa, a fortress of Muslim origin dating from the end of the 12th century. Before, a path climbed to the 380 meters of its summit in half a kilometer. Now, visiting the also known Castell de L'Orxa is prohibited. There is a risk of detachments and falls.

Next to the ruins of the old Infern Factory, is this beautiful pebble beach that offers a privileged place to cool off in the waters of the river, especially on summer days. A few meters away there are also some benches and tables where you can have a picnic under the shade of the trees before continuing along the Vía Verde.

Beautiful route, with impressive views in the heart of the Safor mountains. Relive with a little imagination the times when the interior began its communication with the coast, being able to improve trade towards the port of Gandia, to reach further and faster. It is a luxury to go through this itinerary with its tunnels. I never tire of doing this route from Villalonga to Lorxa.
