Exceptionally beautiful rapeseed fields (rapeseed blooms in April and May) and surrounding green forests. This is a true treat for connoisseurs of beautiful rural views. Not far from Zwierzyniec, yet so peaceful and quiet!

A wonderful pond in the center of Zwierzyniec. The pond features islands—one is home to the Church on the Water of St. John of Nepomuk, and the other is home to a Roman sarcophagus-style monument. It's a wonderful place for a walk—it's worth taking a walk around the pond.

The Church of the Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God in Szczebrzeszyn is a unique religious monument – the oldest building belonging to the Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church. The temple has a turbulent history: from a Catholic church, through a Calvinist congregation, a Uniate church, to an Orthodox church. After years of abandonment, it was restored, and during the works, 17th-century wall paintings were uncovered and the iconostasis was recreated. The church on Sądowa Street is worth visiting, especially if you are interested in the history of religious denominations and architecture.

The Jewish cemetery in Szczebrzeszyn is one of the oldest burial sites of Jews in Poland, with documented gravestones dating back to 1545. Situated on a hill on Cmentarna Street, it is distinguished by a large number of preserved matzevot, including unique 16th-century tombstones. During World War II, it was a place of execution, and today it commemorates the victims of the Holocaust and the city's Jewish community. Thanks to the involvement of various organizations and volunteers, the cemetery has been tidied up and fenced.

On one of the islands there is the church of St. John of Nepomuk in Zwierzyniec, the so-called "church on the water". On the other island there is a monument in the shape of a Roman sarcophagus, and under it - according to tradition - the favorite dog of Marysieńka (then Zamoyska) was buried.

"Zwierzyńczyk" is known under its official name as: "Historic water and palace system in Zwierzyniec with tourist development". This is a park complex located behind the school in Zwierzyniec. The city managed to obtain funds from the European Union to modernize the park. And in this way, residents and tourists visiting the city can enjoy the beauty of subtle and charming alleys running among regulated water reservoirs.
