Alpine experience is REALLY necessary. Very rough/rocky paths, lots of climbing on the slope. The descent is particularly difficult and most hikers there had their shoe soles come apart (or fall off completely). So all the requirements stated on the sign should be observed!

Hiking up to the summit of PUIG CAMPANA mountains is not easy task and required a good fitness conditions. But as a reward one get an unique option to enjoy great view of Marina Alta/Bajo area (make sure you select good sunny day for your hike ). A proper hiking equipment (especially shoes) is important point. Since your hike could exceed nine hours, do not forget to take enough water (especially by nice sunny day). GOOD LUCK and ENJOY your hike in one of most exiting area in Costa Blanca!

Be careful with the kilometer vertical!! Starting this one afternoon with half a liter of water was disastrous😅. Sturdy shoes are a necessity.

Even after the repeated climb to Puerto de Tudons, you still have this great feeling of having reached your destination. Driven different routes, always an experience that stays in your memory for a long time. The effort is worth it and the departure is an event. Eddy Current.

It is a port without great demands (maximum slope of 10%) that will allow us to enjoy the landscape of pine and holm oak trees and the wide views of the coast that open up at the top. We start in Alcoi, at the Fernando Reig bridge over the Barxell river taking the N-340 in the direction of Xixona. It is a long straight uphill stretch with a service road on the right that we can take for a kilometer (until the intersection with the CV-797, Font Roja road) to avoid traffic as much as possible.
