Marathonisi is an uninhabited island in the marine national park of Zakynthos. It lies about two kilometers off the coast in the Bay of Laganas. The island owes its nickname to two special features: 1. Viewed from a distance or from the air, the island's silhouette resembles a swimming turtle. 2. The sandy beach of Marathonisi is an important nesting site for the endangered loggerhead sea turtle (Caretta caretta).

Dafni Beach is located on the Vasilikos peninsula. It is part of the National Marine Park of Zakynthos (ZNMP) and is considered one of the most important nesting sites for the loggerhead sea turtle (Caretta-Caretta). The beach is known for its natural beauty and seclusion, which, however, comes with special rules and a challenging journey. As the beach is located in the strictly protected Zone A of the marine park, strict regulations apply to protect the turtle nests. Access is only permitted from 07:00 to sunset.

The Myzithres rocks (also called Mizithres) are two imposing, chalk-white limestone cliffs that rise out of the sea near the village of Keri. The rocks owe their name to the local Greek cheese „Myzithra", as their shape and white color are reminiscent of it. Before an earthquake in 2018, both rocks were completely separated from the land as small islands. Since then, they have been partially connected to the coast by fallen rock masses, creating a narrow beach. They are located directly below the Keri Lighthouse (Faros Keriou). From there, one of the island's most famous panoramic views is offered.

The Aristeon Olive Oil Museum (often also referred to as Aristeon Ecological Olive Press) is a popular excursion destination in the village of Lithakia, offering visitors an insight into the history and modern production of olive oil on the island. In the outdoor and indoor areas of the museum, you can view original equipment and techniques for olive oil production, such as grinding stones from the French Alps. In addition to the historical exhibits, the museum also showcases the modern technology used today for the production of high-quality olive oil. A central part of the visit is the tasting of various olive oils (e.g., with lemon or garlic) along with homemade bread and olives. The produced oils, as well as olive oil cosmetic products, can be purchased directly on-site. Admission and guided tours are free. Opening hours: Daily from 09:00 to 19:00.
