Church from the 18th and 19th centuries built in the upper part of the village and overlooking the cliff created by the Fluvià river. Despite having a spectacular viewpoint, the branches and leaves of the trees obstruct the view of the river and, let's be honest, the modern bridge of the NII.

This is the church that is located in the town of Bàscara and which is also located in the old part of the same town. It's worth strolling through its streets!

Vilajoan, at the foot of the Fluvià River, is known for its tower which is located in the old middle of the town and which was a strategic point. It is currently one of these towns that helps the meander of the river to remain motionless over time.

References to Vilaür appear for the first time in 1017, as Vila Dur, in a bull from Pope Benedict VIII. Its origin is, as usual in so many other medieval towns, in a group of houses around a church that ended up inside a protective wall. In this case, the church of Sant Esteve was the initial germ of this small medieval town. Today it still preserves parts of that wall, integrated into the constructions that were expanding the town. Access to the main square of the town is through a portal covered with a barrel vault that crosses the lower part of one of the towers of the wall.
