This section of the cycle path is part of the Kanonenbahn cultural trail, which runs along three different railway lines. On this section, the scenery is particularly idyllic, with the viaduct on the hillside, the vineyards and the Moselle.

High above the vineyards of Zell (Mosel), on a hill, you can see the tower, built in 1906 from red brick. There used to be a shelter on the same spot, but it fell victim to an "arsonist". For this reason, the Zell local group of the then Mosel-Hochwald-Hunsrück Association decided to build the Collis Tower. The Mosel Valley Railway provided the building materials for the masonry. The tower, which can be seen from afar today, is almost eight meters high and has a weather vane on the roof. The Collis Tower with its viewing platform is a popular destination for hikers, who have a wonderful view of Zell and the Moselle Valley from here.

For the best view, a viewing platform was set up in the vineyard a few steps below the tower. The distant view over the so-called Zeller Hamm is extraordinary. When the weather is good, a hut next to the observation tower provides drinks and small meals. You can tell from the valley whether the bar is open by a waving blue flag. The "round tower" is located at the cemetery above the city.
