The Coll de Pradell is one of the most demanding and spectacular ascents in Berguedà. The road winds through forests, meadows, and old mining landscapes, witnesses to the intense coal mining activity that marked the history of this region for over a century. Today, silence has replaced the noise of the mines, but the landscape still bears the mark of that industrial past while rewarding the effort with magnificent views over the Pre-Pyrenean mountains.

New sculpture and tribute to the bike that has been promoted by the Regional Council, to give visibility to the importance of cycling in Berguedà. Now we have a new milestone to frame the challenge of crowning the Coll de Pradell, brutal!!

A very beautiful pass, as these mountains encompass the best of the mid- and high mountains. The landscape is magnificent, with beautiful views of Pedraforca Mountain. It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful climbs in Alt Berguedà. Pedraforca is one of the most iconic mountains in Catalonia. This mountain has a very distinctive shape, with two peaks (the upper peak at 2,497 meters and Calderer at 2,491 meters). The nearest towns are Gósol and Saldes. Pedraforca is located in the Cadí mountain range.

Magnificent church of Sant Romà de la Clusa in an unbeatable setting, with spectacular views of the Serra del Catllaràs. It belongs to the municipality of Castell de l'Areny, and to get there you can go from the track that leaves the town of Vilada, it's about 10km uphill with some quite demanding sections. The path that follows, cut in the rock, hangs over deep precipices cut by the Clusa stream. Next door is the manor house of the same name. The Mirador is also located a few meters below. Also highly recommended.

Located a few meters from the Hermitage of Sant Romà de la Clusa, is this magnificent viewpoint of the entire Catllaràs range. Don't miss the sights. The climb up here is on a cycle path but with considerable difficulty. Since they are kms uphill.

We stopped for lunch, they are simple and quite inexpensive dishes. You can have lunch for around €20. We shared salads, 1 dish, dessert, coffee and drink.

The Collada Sobirana is a classic of the Berguedà, whether from Guardiola de Berguedà or from the Pobla de Lillet, it is a pleasant and tough port at the same time. The first is longer and harder, with more exposure to wind and sun. The second is shorter and draws its curves in a very leafy forest that can protect you on very hot days.
