The Este barrage with its distinctive blue bascule bridge in Hamburg-Cranz. The structure was commissioned in 1967 and serves to protect against flooding on the Este, a tributary of the Elbe. It is a popular excursion destination with cycle paths and views of the Elbe, all the way over to Blankenese. The bridge connects the Altes Land, Northern Europe's largest contiguous fruit-growing area, with the Hamburg city area. From here, you have a magnificent wide view of the Muhlenberger Loch and Blankenese. A visit is absolutely recommendable and interesting at the same time 👍🏼.

Very nice mill in Jork. Short detour from the main road, then left and you've arrived. The café is unfortunately closed and no longer operated. Since 30.10.23, a great pity. Despite everything, the mill is worth seeing.

The mill is currently being restored; perhaps it will be open to visitors again soon. It has been closed for several years. It is very beautiful to look at and a visit is highly recommended.
