My advice is to follow the course of the Genil

It was a lovely walk! Be careful, our walk connected to another one without us realizing it, but luckily we saw it in time so we could turn around and continue using Google Maps! Otherwise, we would have been in the dark 😱 I think we still need to get better at using the app; it's not always easy!

Nice moderate walk from Güejar Sierra and back. You probably would save about 15 min and 1km if you don't get lost couple of times as i did😅. Recommend to get there early before that jest. Part of the walk is shaded and part under open sun. Pay attention on the top of Certo de Castillejo and Pico de La Lastra.

Ample parking space at the start of the 7 km level walk. But you can shorten the thing by crossing little foot bridges on tje rio genil.

Coming from Granada, it is a great walk and the abbey is really worth seeing.

Nice round trip from the Los Lomas campsite. Unfortunately, the tour goes to the town of Embalse and from there back to the campsite on the main road, which is not nice to walk on as there is more traffic here.
