ATTENTION: The 'Timanfaya National Park', the 'Parque natural Los Volcanes' and also the 'Parque natural del Archipiélago Chinijo' have been subject to stricter conditions of use since 2022, which affect not only hikers but also mountain bikers. Only the clearly marked and therefore approved trails may be used.

ATTENTION: in general, two things are completely mixed up in the comments here: the CACT 'Montañas del Fuego', the part of the national park that can be visited for an entrance fee (currently 20 euros) and the actual national park, which extends over large parts of the west of Lanzarote... the cycle routes that lead through the national park can be used free of charge.
