Particularly fine sandy beach, if you like beaches, sand, crowds, noise, life, music etc., then this is the place for you. Unlike other Spanish coastal towns, note that cycling is not allowed everywhere here.

The beach of Sant Joan is very long and has white sand. Towards the north you can see the impressive mountains that rise above the coast.

Playa de San Juan is a vast, golden sandy beach stretching for several kilometers along the Mediterranean coast north of Alicante. The soft, light sand and the clear, turquoise water create an open, almost endless panorama where sea and sky merge seamlessly. The beach is particularly beautiful in the early morning or at sunset – the light bathes the waves in warm hues, and the expanse conveys a sense of peace and freedom. Playa de San Juan is not just a place to swim, but one of those spots where you simply stop, take a deep breath, and let your gaze wander across the sea.

A beautiful section right on the beach, at the very end of the promenade. The sculptures are wonderfully staged and give the place a special charm. However, cyclists should be careful not to ride into them – although cycling is actually not allowed there at all. 😉 The photos in the warm light of the evening sun are simply great!
