The farm has existed for more than two centuries, having been founded in 1750. Until 2010, the Kapellenhof was run as a dairy farm with young cattle rearing. Since the establishment of our coffee and snack bar in 2000, we have been serving young and old, and you will quickly realize that our constant aim is to make your stay with us more enjoyable than just with our food and drinks: The children enjoy the playground and the animals in the adjacent enclosure, while the botanists among us take a stroll through our herb, perennial, and rose gardens along the Altenau stream.
