After the unpleasant welcome, the harsh and inappropriate remarks followed one after another... The place was barely clean. Hikers are clearly not treated the same as other guests. The only merit of the place is that it's on the GR58, but if I were to do it again, I wouldn't do it again, or I would only do it by planning my meals. In 10 days, the only infamous meal was where they served canned vegetables, very poor-quality supermarket cheese, and where the soup was so bland and watery that hot water would do the trick. I'm not even talking about the picnic lunch, which I preferred to avoid (two slices of dry bread, vacuum-packed slices of supermarket rosette cheese, the same plastic-coated cheese, €1 extra for butter + €2.50 extra if you dared to ask for raw vegetables in your sandwich...). More than lamentable, especially after the excellent meals and the tasty and hearty picnics offered by the other refuges or lodges along the GR58...
