Attention, the trail passing through the Glaz hole is permanently closed by decree, following a landslide that occurred in November 2025. Go up to Dent de Crolles via the pas de l'Oeille, as a round trip. Some technical passages with a cable, and 3 passages using hands (level t2 then t3 in the second half).

The climb north via the Trou du Glaz is a bit longer and a bit easier. The climb east is a bit steeper and more exposed. The view is good, though.
